  • UIN Jakarta stands as a higher education institution that integrates general sciences and religion, producing cadres who are able to respond to the demands of society and the changing times.

UIN Jakarta was born from the establishment of the Academy of Religious Sciences (ADIA), June 1, 1957. ADIA was formed by the Ministry of Religious Affairs in educating civil servants to become religious experts in various educational institutions throughout Indonesia and preparing a generation that is able to bring religion holistically.

With the rapid development of information technology, libraries no longer only function as a place to store physical books. The concept of "Library Every Space" is present as a form of innovation to make the library more inclusive and easily accessible to the academic community of UIN Jakarta, anytime and anywhere. Library Every Space refers to the transformation of digital libraries that are not limited to physical spaces, but penetrate into public spaces, UIN Jakarta community environments, and digital platforms. The main goal is to ensure that every individual in the academic community, without geographical restrictions, can access the required knowledge and information.
